Part of an organization’s intangible assets that relate specifically to knowledge such as advanced skills, good practices, intellectual property. It enable an organization to understand the value of its existing knowledge; to locate Knowledge Stewards (employee expert in the tools, practices and methods of knowledge management); identify gaps, barriers, and knowledge sharing opportunities. It is the intellectual content of an organization. Knowledge assets are divided into human, structural, and technological knowledge.
