Research that takes place in organizational development (OD) and looks at:
  • How individuals manage their careers within and between organizations
  • How organizations structure the career progress of their members. It can also be tied into succession planning within some organizations. The aim of this research is to help individuals to meet the constantly changing needs of the labor market and maintain their employability so that they can achieve their aspirations and participate in the community.
