Initiative that has the aim of providing access to the highest quality education and training, tailored to individual needs, delivered cost-effectively anywhere and anytime. ADL employs a structured, adaptive, collaborative effort between the public and private sectors to develop the standards, tools and learning content for the learning environment of the future. It wants to achieve relation across computer and Internet-based learning courseware through the development of a common technical framework, such as SCORM, which represents the current specification of the ADL Initiative.[1] See also: Computer-Based Training (CBT)
