CURRICULUM |
A plan for learning that contains a set of contents and activities designed so that learners attain specific objectives. It is composed of units which are arranged progressively, so that a learner should master the prior units to be able to acquire a new one. It also defines course objectives, usually expressed as ‘learning outcomes’, and the program’s assessment strategy. A curriculum can be determined, totally or in part, by an external authoritative body.[1] See also: Assessment, Objective, Outcome, Syllabus. |
