Term2.png MANUAL
A book that treats concisely the essentials of a subject. A manual contains practical instructions, rules, or steps for performing a task or operation. The purpose of a manual is to provide quality criteria and guidance against which programmes and support systems may be judged. A manual is seen as a reference tool for the assessment or review of learning programmes. It proves to be useful to learners and staff in institutions concerned with the design, development, teaching, assessment and support of learning programmes. In providing guidance, the course developers, teachers and other stakeholders will see the manual as a useful development and improvement tool for incorporation in their own institutional systems of monitoring, evaluation and enhancement.
