Approach to assessment in which individuals evaluate other members of the team as well as themselves, considering the amount, level, value, worth, quality, or success of the products or outcomes of learning. The benefits of peer assessment are:
  1. It is part of the learning process
  2. It gives sense of ownership of the assessment process and responsibility to the learning
  3. Multiple perspectives are designed
  4. It gives a good understanding of criteria of homework, training, skills of critical reflection and analysis[1]
