| Considering information as a major corporate resource it suggests that it must be managed using the same basic principles used to manage other assets. This includes the effective management and control of data/information as a shared resource to improve the availability, accessibility and utilization of data/information within an organization. Data administration and records management are key functions of information resource management.[1] |
