BACKBONE NETWORK |
Part of computer network infrastructure that interconnects various pieces of network, providing a path for the exchange of information. Normally, the backbone's capacity is greater than the networks connected to it so that it allows to keep information online available and secure and enables back up network to take in the load.[1] |
