| The imitation of the reality for studying the effect of changing parameters in a model as a means of preparing a decision. Simulation creates the appearance of being real, giving the experience of a real situation without risks. The act of simulating something generally entails representing certain key characteristics of a selected physical or abstract system. Simulations are also used to test new theories. After creating a theory of causal relationships, the theorist can codify the relationships in the form of a computer program, to see if the program behaves in the same way as the real process. The aim of a simulation is to conducting experiments for the purpose of understanding and evaluating various strategies, for the operation of a system.[1] |
