Techniques used to carry out training and development, such as training courses, job aids, coaching, and mentoring.

There are learning methodologies that are computer based (on-line learning) and that can be presented as follows :

  1. Synchronous learning: Real-time, instructor-led, online learning in which all participants are logged on at the same time and communicate directly with each other and the instructor through the computer.
  2. Asynchronous learning: This is a partially self-paced learning model where learners access programs on-line at different times. This type comes may have the participation of an instructor or facilitation via bulletin boards and/or chat rooms or email.
  3. e-learning: is where the learner studies material on-line and does not interact with an instructor. [1]
