Collection of knowledge stored in any type of database or an offshoot that is of interest to the organization and made accessible to a broad population. It refers to a collection of information or knowledge, usually centered on specific issues and accessible through technologies such as intranets and browsers. Knowledge repository aims to maintain databases, for distribution over a network.[1] Click4it is an example of a knowledge repository. See also: Knowledge Systems
