An in-depth exploration of one particular case (situation or subject) for the purpose of gaining understanding into the issues being investigated. It can consist in the application of management principles to simulated or real-life situations in order to give learner practice in applying their analytical and presentation skills as well as theoretical knowledge. It is useful to have an in-depth look at good practice or a lesson learned. [1]
