| Also called news feed or referred to as a syndicated feed. It is a data format that enables the readers to see any changes done to the content of their favorite websites. Atom and RSS are the two principal formats of web feed. Not all but many websites provide a web feed. When the web feed exists, then the reader can copy the data format and add it to a feed reader, where the updates to the content of the favorite websites are displayed in a readable format.
