Term2.png LIFELONG LEARNING
Philosophical concept in which learning is viewed as a long-term process beginning at birth and lasting throughout life. It refers to the development of human potential through continuing education process, which stimulates and empowers individuals to acquire all the knowledge, values, skills, and understanding they will require throughout their lifetimes and to apply them with confidence, creativity and enjoyment in all roles, circumstances, and environments. It can be applied to all general education, vocational education and training, formal and informal education undertaken throughout life, resulting in improved knowledge, skills, and competences within a personal/civic/social/employment related perspective. It includes the provision of counseling and guidance services. [1]
