CONTINUING EDUCATION |
Any form of learning provided for adults, including diverse methods as independent study, broadcast, videotape, online or distance learning, group discussion, study circles, conferences, seminars and workshops, and full or part-time classroom study. It’s synonymous with lifelong learning, and reflects the idea that an individual must continually learn new things to keep up with the time and a profession, or to be competent in any given job.[1] |
