LEARNING METHODOLOGIES

Techniques used to carry out training and development, such as training courses, job aids, coaching, and mentoring.

There are learning methodologies that are computer based (online learning) and that can be presented as follows :

Synchronous learning: Real-time, instructor-led, online learning in which all participants are logged on at the same time and communicate directly with each other and the instructor through the computer.
Asynchronous learning: This is a partially self-paced learning model where learners access programs on-line at different times. This type may have the participation of an instructor or facilitation via bulletin boards and/or chat rooms or email.
Self-paced learning: The learner studies material on-line and does not interact with the instructor. ^[1]
