TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (TVET) |
Education or training activity oriented to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to perform a job, an occupation, or a professional activity. The technical and Vocational Education and Training refers to deliberate interventions to bring about learning which would make people more productive (or simply adequately productive) in designated areas of activity. TVET will also apply to other forms of education (which are not unique to TVET), e.g. expert knowledge, skills development, insights and mindsets which are considered to be generally valuable for learners of many areas of economic activity.
