DISCUSSION BOARD |
A tool that allows groups to communicate online. A discussion board consists of a series of messages on a particular topic, and each message is an individual contribution to a conversation. This virtual environment allows users to exchange casual dialog in a non- instant message or chat room setting. It is similar to e-mail, but is separate from the e-mail account and is accessed, stored and organized centrally. The system includes discussion forums, blogs, calendars, questions and answers, picture galleries, file shares, keyword advertising, and social networking. [1] See also: social network |
