Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) |
Term used for credits given to learners on the basis of evidence drawn from their past formative experiences that include courses, self-teaching or work practice. It can be used in order to gain a place or advancement on a course, or credits for an award. [1] See also: Accreditation.
