{{Term|DISCUSSION BOARD|}} A tool that allows groups to communicate online. A discussion board consists of a series of individual messages on a particular subject or discussion topic. This virtual environment allows users to exchange casual dialog in a non- instant message setting. Discussion boards are stored and organized centrally in a server.
