Sharable Content Object Reference Model, is an effort, driven by industry and market, to bring together key players in E-Learning, forge alliances in strategic technical areas, and accelerate technology for learning anytime, anywhere. It is a roadmap that serves as a common e-learning standard to modernize education and training courses. Accessible Can be searched and made available as needed by learners and developers
Interoperable Operate across a wide variety of hardware, operating systems and web browsers
