Term2.png ASSUMPTIONS
Are hypotheses about the external factors, influences or risks that might affect the progress or success of a programme or project.[1] [2] Assumptions highlight external factors, which are important for the success of a project or programme, but are largely or completely beyond the control of Management.[3] Incorrect assumptions at any stage of the programme or project results chain may be an obstacle to the achievement of expected results.[4]
