INFORMATION SYSTEM |
Collection of methods, practices, and methodologies that transforms data into information and knowledge useful for individuals or organizations. This system can involve a combination of work practices, information, people, data, records, activities, processes (manual or automated), and technologies organized to accomplish goals in an organization. The term is used as a synonym for computer-based information systems, which are the information technologies only.[1] |
